To reach the TRL5 stage (validation of the technology in a real environment), Legacy Foundry plans to build a prototype of a Floating Territory that could use the particularities of a specific natural setting, in order to collect operating data in a real environment
Since 2017 Legacy Foundry has invested 1.2MCHF of private funds in the development of Floating Territories.
Currently a fundraising of 10MCHF is engaged for the development of the technology and the co-financing of a first pilot. A first tranche of 2.3MCHF is dedicated to the financing of the TRL4 and TRL5 stages.
